Hi everyone, hope you are all well, I had a very eventfull day today, and certainly can do without too many of those.....enough said. I love this vintage image and use it often, it was a freebie from long ago and is just too pretty, love the way she looks....Background papers are from Kaiser craft.
I used a tim holtz swirl and photostrip, fence die, real lace and lotz of glitz to give this card a vintage,
shabby chic feel.

Hi againk this gorgeous young man is an image from Prairie Fairy.

Hi again, I just love making the 'Cake Card' as I call. Whatever the colours or occasion, it just always is a fun card to make. Not sure if you can see it, but I have added a lot of glitz. The papers are from Kaisercraft, I left off any background paper, I really am loving the look of this card.I used an EK success punch for the large flower and an MS and SU for the smaller ones.All the centres are 'glitzed' up.The quartler lace doily top left is a cheery lyn die.I cut the full doily into 4 pieces, and looks great in corners.

Hi again, here is another card I made last night. This cute little girl image is from the Poodles Parlour.
I used some new papers I got from Kaisercraft. The flower is layered with two different EK success punches.I always colour with pro markers and I used lots of glitz on the dress.

I have recently discoverd these images from sketching stamper. I love Dragonflies. Not excatly sure why, but they just appeal to me. Their lacey glittery wings just amaze me. I love them.
I have used brads, jewels and glitz. I always colour with promarkers. I used a MS borderpunch for the cute little fence.

Hi all, hope you are well and had a great day. I am loving blues and greens together. Remember years and years ago, blue and green must never been seen...? I also like to add just that little touch of mauve/purple.
My first go at making a banner, not sure how successful it is, can't even see the twine I used. Oh well, I will try again.I used a MS borderpuch for the fence, so cute.

Hi again, I coloured in this apple witht he scripture in it and enjoyed the colours so much that I decided to make into a really funky bright and happy card.

DT cards for Send a Smile 4 Kids #16: Punches and Dies

Hi guys hope you are all well and have enjoyed your week.
We hold our challenges every fist and third Saturday of each month. And believe it or not it's already the third Saturday. So head on over with your wonderful card creation to Send a Smile 4 Kids. We are asking you to use your Punches and Dies. Great opportunity to show them off. You can use more than one.....hint, hint. A great time to use all those dies hidden in your drawers and folders, dig up all the hundreds of punches we have all bought over the years (only slightly exaggerated. lol, maybe dozens?)
On the top card I used a Martha Stewart Daisy border punch, Tim Holtz flourish and a doily die which I  momentarily forgot where from.
On the second card I used a SU Top Note die and some yellow star punches.
 All of us SAS girls have had a fun time playing with our wonderful images. The Pink Panther is stamp from the Stamp Shoppe and the cute little girl holding the teddy is a Sassy Cheryl's image. Look closely at the sentiment is says: Have a very Beary Birthday, just too cute.I always use promarkers for my colouring.

DT Card for the Alphabet Challenge: O for only 3 embellies

Hi everyone, well it;s Alphabet Challenge time once again. We have switched from weekly to now fortnightly,so this gives you a little extra time to get your card ready. This week it's O for only 3 embellishments. Warning! It's harder than you think. I was really challenged by this one.
My 3 embellies are : ribbon, 1 jewel ( sitting on the ribbon) and a silver butterfly.

DT card for the Papercrafting Journey #17: anything goes

Hi everyone, hard to believe another fortnight has passed. So head on over to the Papercrafting Journey and we would love to see your creations.We got to play with some wonderful designs from Meljens and I am in love with this cute butterfly. I recently added another MS border punch to my collection, really like the cute little fence. I always colour with promarker, not sure if you can make it out, but I used lots of glitz for the butterfly. Can't wait to see yours, anything goes is everyones favourite.

Did somebody say Wedding? I love making this cake card!! I havn't made one in a while. I embossed some shiny white card and used that as my cake and tinted/ ink distressed the edges.
I decided to leave the background plain, it gives a less cluttered clean and elegant look.

Hi everyone, love this image, have coloured it in many different combinations. The lanterns always remind me of hot summer nights, when you grab whatever lantern or lightsource you can get your hands on to make your summer evening in the garden or balcony so much more fun. Even the plethora of bugs that come along with it aren't so bad.

Hi all, well I got to play with some of my dies and this one is the fleur di lis from spellbinder nestabilities. The image is from Kelly's Kids which came in a bundle from one stitch. Phew, lucky I remembered all of that,lol.
I kept it simple a the colours and die seem to speak for themselves. I always colour with Promarkers, and I colour before and then cut out the die. I really don't think it makes much difference either way. I do like when some of the image is cut out from the die, I love the interest it creates.

DT card for the Alphabet Challenge: N for Navy + One

Hi all, well it's Friday, so that means Alphabet Challenge time once again. This week it's
N for Navy plus one.
I was waiting not so patiently to try out my new die from marianne creatables. Hope you like it, it;s quiet large and even has a larger ring that goes around it, but I didn't use that. The flourish is from tim holtz, and the little flowers are from a SU punch. I always colour in Promarkers. One could use this card as a Christmas card also I guess, as this is ment to be an Angel I think. But I can get never get enough Birthday cards so that is why you will find that most of my cards are Birthday cards.
Just letting you know that from this week onwards the Alphabet Challenge is changing from weekly to a fortnightly challenge. So you have two weeks to come up with something. Can't wait to see them.

DT card for the Poodles Parlour # 5: Round and round the garden

Hi everyone, well there goes another fortnight. They seem to fly by at the moment. This fortnight over at
the Poodles Parlour our challenge is called; Round and round the garden.....
We have a wonderful sponsor this week,which is Lexi's creations. I had a fiddle around and was able to add some images we were given from Lexi's and the gorgeous young lady from Poodles.  I used MS punches for the butterflies, some dies for the leaves and little gate. To me gardening is a wonderful spring/summer activity. Sometime I wish I had a bigger area to play with....I thought to do a long card for a bit of a change.I always colour with Promarkers.  Can't wait to see what you come up with.

DT card for the Papercrafting Journey # 16 ; Photo Inspiration

Hi everyone. My, my has this last fortnight just flown past or what???? Well it's Papercrafting Journey time again. This week we have a fabulous inpiration photo to use. Absolutely gorgeous. I loved the colours in the inspiration photo so much, it just reminds me of SUMMER big time.

Hi everyone, hope you are having a great week so far. I half started this card a while ago and got stuck. Then all of a sudden I was able to finish it with out any problems. Go figure. I really like the Cheery Lyn Italian doily that I used in the corner. I cut it into quarters. It just need a little something in red to make it pop.I used  I always colour with promarker.The images are from 'sketching stamper digis' .
I used lots of glitz on the bag and shoe.
