Hi everyone, this week at the Papercrafting Journey we have something a little different. We are asking you to use this photo as inspiration for your wonderful works of art.
The DT got to play with some of the cute digis from Jellypark and I encourage you to go and check them out, as they have a great selection of digis for every taste.

Jellypark are also sponsoring a charity this year with some special stamps.100% of the proceeds from the sale of these stamps goes to Little Havens Hospice.
How often do you see something where all of the money goes to charity? :)
Here is my card:

Dt Card for the Alphabet Challenge: D for Dry Embossing

Hi everyone, it's Alphabet Challenge time again. This week it's D for Dry Embossing.
I love dry embossing, it;s one of my favourite things. I chose to use a CAS design for this Easter Card.
The beautiful embossed cross says it all. Papers are from my stash, bits and bob, i have had that ribbon since forever. The cross is actually a die cut, but I used this as a secondary run through, and as it was cardstock it came out as embossing rather than cut through. I like it. A happy accident....The die is from....Cottage Cutz called : Ornate Cross
I am looking forward to checking out your entries, blessings Hilde
I am also entering this card into the following challenges:

Paper Pretties : Easter Blessings
 Dream Valley#28 : Easter

Mothers Day double gatefold card with belli band for challenges

Here I am, hope you all had a great week so far. I thought I would try something a little different, something I hadn't tried before. Go the extra mile. Rina on her blog Scrapbook Faschinista inspired me, love her stuff, no where near as lovely as her gorgeous creations (YET)...I really like this style card but it chews up a fair bit of card stock. It's basically 3 cards in one.
Two square cards overlapping in the center to create a pocket for the large tag and then the band. I really do like the pull out tab, you can use it for journeling or put some pics on it, both sides even.
So it is definitely a card for that special someone.
I am going to try to make one for a baby and a wedding shortly.
I used papers ( kaisercraft I think ), cardstock and flowers from my stash, the images were freebies from the graphics fairy a while ago, I have had the girl image for a while now.  The butterfly border is a Martha Stewart border punch.

I am entering this card into the following challenges:

Creative Insprirations # 155: Anything goes

DT Card for the Alphabet Challenge: C for Celebrate/ St Patricks Day or Good Luck

Hi all, hope you had a wonderful week so far. It's Alphabet Challenge time again and we are up to C already.
C for Celebrate / St Patricks Day/ Good Luck
These are actually two images that I purchased from.....Digital Delights  ..and I placed the cute little mouse into the frame. Both these images were pre coloured. I have been experimenting with different pre coloured images of late, and if you are in a hurry or don't have much time to fuss with your colouring, pre coloured images work well. I do enjoy colouring though and feel guilty ( which I shouldn't ) for not colouring myself. I have seen a lot more on the blogs of late and it seems to be a trend heading that way. Looking forward to checking out your wonderful creations, blessings Hilde
