Another Gift box

Hi again, here is another giftbox made with the top note die, I don't think it is essential to use the top note die, but it is the perfect size.
Recipe: Top note die from SU/Sixxiz
Embossings: Cuttle bug folder  not sure of the name
Flowers, card, papers from my stash
I folded the tags of the box to the outside, so the inside stays nice and smooth. Perfect size for little gifts.
The whole idea of this box came from Jenny Moores Stamping Moments as mentioned in my previous posting, I bought a few of her kits, they are really nice and not too expensive and very easy to understand
( just what I need, lol)

Pretty Christmas Gift box

Hi everyone, hope you are all well. I am still on my quest to shake thinks up some and stretch myself to make things that i normally wouldn't . I was spending valuable ( ahm) resource/research time on Pinterest the other day, when I came across a lovely box, then clicked onto the pic and ended up at Jenny Moores Stamping Moments wonderful blog with all these projects from SU. MMMm....So I bought the info on the top note box kit, which I really liked.
I changed it a little. Does this happen to you? You see some else's wonderful craft ideas and must have that particular die or what ever....I HAD to have the top note die from SU/Sixxiz a while back and used it like crazy, but it had sadly been neglected. Well it's been resurrected once again, and it really is the most versatile of dies I have ever had.....
Recipe: Cardstock and paper from my stash
Embossing is a Cuttlebug folder embosser, but don't know the name.
The label is a freebie from : Lilac & Lavender
I folded the tags to the ouside of the box, and then covered it with embossed extra pieces, this also gives the box a bit of extra strength and covers the tags, so that the inside would be smooth...
Blessings Hilde

and you end up with to brackets as well, soooooooooooo coool.

For full details, please hop over to her blog and read the wonderful story of this family and their heart break, and see if you can help in some way....so go and check out

DT card for Gingerloft: A touch of Gold and some news

Hi everyone, hope you all had a great week. I am excited to let you know that I have been asked to join the  the awesome DT of Gingerloft, and am very honoured, thanks Tami.
Go and check out the lovely digi images that Gingerloft to offer.

This week we are looking at creating a card with a touch of gold.
I decided to layer my card and the back ground is a Kraft card, with light gold almost pearlish in appearance corrugted back drop, with white doily and topped with gold doilies cut in half and quarters for the corners.
I always use promarkers for my colouring and I added some brads to hold the Birthday greeting.
I added a Martha Stewart butterfly with some bling as the centre.
The words: You are the Gold in my treasure is something i printed off from my computer.
Looking forward to checking out your entries...
Blessings Hilde

DT Card for the Squirrel and the Fox # 30: Horses, Hats or Flowers

Hi everyone, hope you all had a wonderful week. It's the Squirrel and the Fox time again, and this week we are asking you to make a card with either Horses, Hat or flowers, or all of them.
We got to play with some gorgeous digi stamps from an Australian company named:Make it crafty
They also have 'real' stamps as well. I just love the details of them, this gal Zoe is one talented lady.
Head on over and check them out.

In Australia, every first Tuesday in November, in the city of Melbourne we have a horse race that seems to involve the whole country, in State of Victoria it's even a public Holiday, so hence the Horses, Hats or Flowers theme. I know of people that never even see the horses run even though they are there, it;s just one giant party, and all the girls dress up in their posh frocks, with hats and all. The rose garden is also in full bloom and is most impressive. Most people have a little bet or two, most offices tend to stop briefly to check out who won. Even those ( like myself) who isn't much interested in the whole thing....

I found these square doily on ebay UK, love them....Believe it or not the purple on the designer paper is actually the same as the background card, just didn't come out in the photo that way, what a shame.
I used some pretty blue coloured cherry blossoms and I always colour with Pro markers. As you can see the  double gate fold, folds out to reveal the centre which is doubled up to create a pocket, so to fit the large tag. Most of the embellishments are on the belli band. Hope you like it.
Looking forward to checking out your blogs, blessings Hilde
